The Shamah Way Journal beautifully emphasizes the importance of listening to the Spirit’s voice.
I love the very concept of Shamah. Even though it’s simply translated “hear”, the Hebrew word escalates the meaning from simply having heard a command to literally obeying it. I actually use the word Shamah with my boys like the Marines use the word HUA (Hear. Understand. Acknowledge.) Shamah takes it one step further: Hear & Obey.
The Shamah Way Journal welcomes you to not just simply read (or hear) the Scriptures, but to actively look deep inside yourself, to examine your heart, and then, most importantly, to ask the Spirit of God to reveal His Truth to your soul through the Scriptures. It invites you to truly listen.
I have needed the Shamah journal in this season! I tend to be all over the place in my journaling practice; some seasons I forget to process and check in entirely, and when I do, my mind can easily be scattered. Having the interactive Shamah journal has been extremely beneficial! The visual & audible prompts has helped me bring my entire being into focus, and I can feel such a difference in my day adding it into my morning routine. I love the daily Word reflections as well. So grateful to have this incredible resource!
What Jesus referenced as the most important commandment is now something I’m beginning to understand… that God desires a connection of mutual love, and in Gods presence, I can flourish into who I am meant to be, a fully integrated human being. I’ve lived enough years settling for compartmentalization. It’s been my experience that true peace and joy begins when my heart, soul, mind and strength are actively tied to God’s heart, soul, mind and strength. The “deep calling unto deep”. I’m so grateful to Anthony and Jake for giving me this beautiful “key from heaven”. Life officially changed.
Shamah Way has changed my mornings! Whether I am having a peaceful morning at home or already in my car wrapped up in a chaotic day. I can pull up the app and it will guide me back to God. Back to peace and back to center. This has been a much needed blessing!
I was resistant to a digital version for journaling, especially for my spiritual practice. Daily meditation was new to me too. As I started to use The Shamah Way, I was surprised to find that the prompts through the framework and the meditation lead me to experience a connection with God that I had never felt before in my journaling practice. All I’ve ever wanted is to know that God is with me and I am not alone. I’ve encountered this in a very real way through this journal. Thank you Jake and Anthony, for co-laboring with God to get this practice in my hands.
The Shamah Way has provided a clear guided path for me to follow in one of the most critical areas of my life. The consistency, format and guidance provided has made concrete improvements in my inner life.
I love how the prompts cause me to explore deeper and more essential questions that have brought me closer to God, centered me and allowed me to live from a more grounded place.
The Shamah Way journal and guided meditation practice has been a gift. As the days feel hectic and actions feel lost in the demands of various things, this daily practice has helped me center myself. The journal has helped me identify the feelings I’m feeling so I can dig deeper into my true self. It has given me access to a daily practice that helps me focus on God and His plan for my life, making connection and communication with God feel more tangible and realistic.
“The Shamah Way Journal has had a huge impact on my spiritual growth.
The way it guides me through scripture, prayer, and journaling has helped me go so much deeper in my time with the Lord. It’s felt like I’m literally sitting down with a friend who’s helping me grow.
I love how it uses a consistent format of questions, prompts, and even suggested time to spend in each section. It tactically guides me to learn more about myself and the Lord. I’ve really loved starting my day with it.”
Shamah Way is unreal! I have learned so much about who I was created to be and how to go deeper in my spiritual journey as an individual as well as with others walking alongside with me. The impact of Shamah Way has helped shape my life in ways I would have never imagined. I will never be the same.
As someone whose mind wanders in times of silence, I found the guided structure of the Shama Journal to be exactly what I needed to help keep me focused. The guided meditation is so helpful for me, as it means I can concentrate on what I’m there to do, rather than watching a clock to see if I am moving on at the right pace.
The Journal helps me connect with the truth about my heart at the start of each day, allowing me to be responsible for me and step into my day knowing what is true about me and my internal world. This is a gift to both me and to those I am relationally connected to!
If I’m honest, as a working mom and wife with 2 young children, having a “quiet time” can sometimes turn into another item to check off my to-do list. The Shamah Way Journal has allowed me to take time to breathe, reflect, and listen to God and my own feelings each day. There are some days where I might not have actually taken the time to take a deep breathe until I sit down for this journalling time, it’s such a gift! I appreciate the scripture that is incorporated and the journaling prompts for each day. This journal allows you to dive deeper into yourself and what God is saying, much more than answering cookie cutter types of questions. I highly recommend!
The Shamah Journal has been a doorway to deeper intimacy with Christ. The guided process has enabled a deep, daily connection with God that begins in the morning and carries on throughout the day. No other resource I have used has had a more profound and comprehensive impact on my walk with Jesus.
The Shamah Way journal experience is so unique but transformative. It allows me to connect to my true self as God sees me and be true to myself before Him. I really enjoyed the guided meditation through the heart, soul, mind, & strength portions of the journal. Also, the sermon journal was such a nice bonus to have during church to practice what I have learned through this framework to everyday teachings.
The Shamah Way app has been an amazing resource for helping center my heart on Jesus, his peace and his words, recently. Even after a few dives into the content my heart felt renewed and my being was lifted in a profound and unique way. I would suggest it for anyone looking to find more of Jesus in their day during these stressful times.
The Shamah Journal is easy to use and impactful for life. A wholistic journal to encourage a wholistic faith. I loved walking with Christ through all aspects of who I am as a person each day. The Shamah Journal helped me to process what I was feeling and how to meet Christ fully in that moment. I learned to walk with God in my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and not to turn inward and isolate. This experience helped me to pull out of myself and turn towards God.
The Shamah Way journal has helped me engage with God, the scriptures and my emotions by integrating the 4 core parts of who I am as a human: heart, soul, mind and strength. By using the journal, I’m able to experience a deeper level of God’s radical love, grace and peace. I highly suggest it!
